Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Field Sales Network Inventory Associate to join our Commercial Excellence & Strategic Enablement located in Allentown, PA.

The Reverse Logistics Execution team has responsibility to optimize National inventory levels by removing excess & expired product out of the US field. The combination of strategic pullback initiatives and both physical & systematic movements are critical to the success of this team. This role is a liaison between Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality, and Finance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Inbound and systematically process all local inventory from field return authorizations utilizing system mapping and verification accuracy.

  • Inventory put away, replenishment and expiry management of all sales office assets.

  • Drive strategic, technical, and tactical initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness across outbound operations.

  • Collaborate across J&J Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality, and Finance.

  • Benchmarking and implementing activities related to inventory par levels based on supply chain recommendations.

  • Check and maintain appropriate inventory of on hand to support local sales territory as well as completing inventory transfers for disposition or redeployment as needed.

  • Apply Lean initiatives to ensure continuous improvement by eliminating waste and improving bottom-line.

  • Initiate and control all expired exchanges of inventory from national sales office retrograde location.

  • Manage relationships with freight forwarder, receiving parties, and internal partners.

  • Responsible for GDP (Good documentation practices) and adhering to SOPs.

  • Adherence to training requirements, and health and safety regulations

  • Lead and/or support projects as required

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education : High School Diploma/GED, required

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum 3 years of work experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite proficiency, including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • SAP experience, exposure to Warehouse Management Systems

  • Prior roles within any of the following areas: distribution, manufacturing, or logistics

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent degree

  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel

  • (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, Filtering, Conditional Formatting)

  • Experience building reports with visualization programs, e.g., PowerBI and/or Tableau.

  • Agile operations ability and capability to manage or support projects.

  • Project Management Experience

  • Inventory Management experience, sterile processing, OR support or clinical experience in a hospital environment.

Other:

  • This role requires the employee to be on-site 5 days per week in Allentown, PA.

  • 10% domestic travel to other sites as needed is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $50,000 to $80,500. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
