Job Description:

Delivers care to patients and assists the Registered Nurse in monitoring, observing and reporting reactions to treatments. Participates in the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing . Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.

Qualifications:

Graduate of practical nursing program, required

Hospital based nursing Health care experience within the last five years preferred

Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration

Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Iowa

Prefer certification in Expanded Intravenous Therapy Course for LPNs
