Job Description:
As a key member of our nursing team, the candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating educational initiatives, training programs, and supervision activities within the clinical setting. The ideal candidate will posses a strong clinical background, exceptional teaching skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. This role works closely with department managers and educators performing an integral role in department operations, including but not limited to assigning work and real time coaching. The candidate will work directly on the unit in collaboration with the team leader for the assistance of staff and patient needs
Qualifications:
Required:
Associate Degree in Nursing or greater
Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration
Registered Nursing licensed in the State of Iowa
Maintains current and active status on all required trainings and education as outlined by corporate policy
BLS/ACLS/PALS/Basic Dysrhythmia/TNCC Certified
At least 5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine.
At least 5 years of experience precepting new hires or students
Completion of corporate preceptor training
High performance in effective and closed loop communication
