Production Operator
ROCHESTER MANUFACTURING is seeking a motivated Lathe Machine Operator who is willing to learn and grow with our team. This is a long-term temporary role with the potential to become a temp-to-hire position based on business needs and workflow consistency.
Job Description
The Lathe Machine Operator will be responsible for placing cylinder products into the machine, operating the machine to add ridges or cut portions of the products, and removing the finished product from the machine.
Compensation
- Pay: $16-18 per hour based on experience
Schedule
Prefer 2nd Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
Open to 3rd Shift: 10:30 pm - 7:00 am
Breaks: Two 15-minute paid breaks, one 30-minute unpaid lunch
Duties and Responsibilities
Place cylinder products into the lathe machine.
Operate the machine by pressing appropriate buttons to add ridges or cut portions.
Remove finished products from the machine.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
No previous experience necessary; training will be provided.
Must wear safety glasses.
Steel-toed shoes are recommended, but tennis shoes are acceptable.
Jeans and t-shirts are appropriate attire.
