This role will be based in Wayzata, Minnesota.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Director, HR Business Partner, HR Function will be the primary business partner for our HR Operations, Talent Acquisition & Employee & Labor Relations teams. He/she will collaborate with senior leaders to bring critical thought leadership and perspective on human resources strategy, culture, organizational design, strategic workforce planning & talent management, team and organization effectiveness, and change management. This individual will be responsible for translating business strategies and challenges into human capital strategies and human resources needs and effectively champion change to advance organizational goals and key strategic initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Actively participate on leadership teams to develop and manage the execution of people & culture strategies and ensure business objectives are achieved; coach and influence leaders

  • Build & deliver organizational change initiatives and develop talent management plans for global teams.

  • Design & ensure the organizational design, workforce plans, talent development and related people strategies are effective.

  • Leverage metrics analytics to assess overall human and organization health of the business to influence decisions and deliver meaningful insights.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to drive value in the business, remove barriers and pursue the resources needed for delivering effective HR solutions.

  • Guide, coach and influence leaders on high-performance teaming, intentional culture creation and making differentiated talent decisions to drive strategy execution and business performance.

  • Build a diverse global team with a strong business-oriented mentality; cultivate an environment of collaboration and enablement, effective and successful performance, improvement driven and dedication to business results.

  • Build strong relationships and actively partner with the global Human Resources organization to leverage appropriate expertise and deliver various HR strategies and leverage appropriate expertise

  • Lead the execution of our core people processes throughout the year: goal setting, talent reviews, compensation planning, mid-year and year-end performance discussions and engagement survey & action planning; and forecasting resource needs, in partnership with Finance accordingly.

  • You will provide expert consultative guidance for and initiate strategic long-range goals and objectives.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or other post-secondary degree

  • Professional certification in human resources

  • 10 years of directly related work experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience developing and delivering succinct, clear messages to a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills, using sound business judgment in support of operational and strategic objectives.

  • Advanced experience building relationships and trust, and working with a cross-functional, multi-location and culturally diverse team.

  • Advanced experience positively influencing and/or collaborating with senior business and functional executives while engaging the entire scope of an organization. Experience working in a highly matrixed, global environment.

  • Experience with HR, especially with large-scale teams and organizational optimization.
