Job Purpose and Impact

The Associate Product Marketer for Truvia will work closely with the Truvia product & brand marketing team and sales team to develop, align on and execute the brand’s strategy and goals. This is a marketing role with the primary responsibility of driving profitable growth for the brand by using multiple channels of influence and communication. The marketer will have profit and loss and forecasting responsibility for multiple Truvia product lines. This high performer will be involved in innovation work as required including new product development, pricing, positioning and launch.

Key Accountabilities

  • Participate in profit and loss understanding for assigned product lines. This includes evaluating competitive landscape, understanding growth drivers and building strategies to accelerate growth based on NielsenIQ analysis, consumer research, current market conditions, trends and competitive information

  • Produce informational material for the sales force and communications to reach the target consumer market

  • Support the development of a product innovation business case, including market size, growth rate, share potential, competitive strengths/weaknesses, and potential new unit forecasts and pricing strategy

  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of two years of product marketing experience, either in an agency, B2C, or CPG company.

  • Experience with profit and loss analysis

  • Experience working with and managing marketing agencies (shopper marketing, media, public relations, social media, packaging)

  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, successfully leading cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years of CPG food-related product marketing experience, either in an agency or CPG food company

  • Experience in the roll-out of strategies and plans for new product launches: ideation, planning, execution and measurement

Position Information

  • Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.

  • Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
