The Nursing Assistant assists in the provision of patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Nursing Assistant is responsible for meeting and maintaining established patient care standards and providing patient/family centered care while providing service excellence.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

a.    Accountable and responsible for the provision of patient care and comfort under the direct supervision of a registered nurse according to established standards, policies, and procedures of Washington Health System. 

b.    Demonstrates competency in Washington Health System Core Nursing Assistant Skills & Responsibilities.               

c.     Accurately reports information to the registered nurse. 

d.    Completes all technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Nursing Assistant Skills & Responsibilities.
