Supply Chain Administrative Assistant- Plant Vogtle 1&2

Job Summary

This position will provide clerical support to the Supply Chain Management at Plant Vogtle 1&2 in Waynesboro, GA.

Job Requirements

Education

  • High School diploma or GED is required, higher level education preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years administrative work experience required.

  • Five (5) years secretarial/administrative work experience preferred. Prior Nuclear Administrative work also preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application (Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)

  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat (or other scanning software)

  • Prior experience in D2 and scanning of these documents

  • Understanding of Quality Assurance Records and engineering documents is desirable

  • Working knowledge of Webtop Documentum is preferred

  • Working knowledge of MAXIMO is preferred

  • Working knowledge of STARs is preferred

  • Possess high level keyboarding skills

  • Possess effective written and oral communication skills

  • Experience handling multiple projects, high volume workload, working in a fast paced and team environment is preferred

  • Ability to lean industry specific software in assigned areas

  • Handling a high level of customer interface in person and over the telephone with a high degree of professionalism

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Job duties include scanning and uploading documents in D2

  • Training coordinator

  • Timekeeping

  • Travel planning

  • Coordinating various events/ meetings

  • Filing

  • Typing

  • Maintaining procedures

  • Maintaining work orders in MAXIMO

  • Preparing expense reports

  • Coordinating special projects, and other administrative duties

  • Provide back-up support to the secretary and other Administrative Assistants within the department and across the site

  • Support outage needs as required
