Job Summary and Qualifications

The EKG Tech is expected to be able to perform 12-lead electrocardiogram and is also required to enter correct patient data into the computer/recorder for identification. Staff members are also required to troubleshoot the machine for loose electrodes, 60-seccycle interference, and movement that prevents a satisfactory recording and for maintaining accurate and updated files. Responsible for attending seminars and completing serf study courses related to job performance and training and for correct monitor hook-up and transmission retrieval..

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• High School Graduate / GED

• EKG Certification preferred
