Eaton Corporation Senior Continuous Improvement Analyst in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Analyst. This role is based out of our Waukesha, WI location.

This position is responsible for oversight of the Operations Excellence initiatives. The position will coordinate reviewing the location’s manufacturing activities and provide recommendations to reduce tooling cost and improve setup times, material flows and cycle times. The position analyzes manufacturing data, monitors surroundings or materials, makes decisions and solves complex problems related to lean.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

  • Conducts Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) assessments and identifies performance gaps. Works through the leadership team to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps.

  • Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved working capital performance.

  • Leads the continuous improvement (Lean and Six Sigma) team. Assists in improvement activities including training, mentoring, facilitating Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, etc.

  • Coordinates and assists with corporate initiatives, participating on teams in order to drive best practices across Eaton.

  • Drives employee engagement and enhancement of problem-solving knowledge at all levels.

  • Leads Lincoln Avenue plant OpA (Operational Excellence Assessment) efforts.

  • Develop standard work standards and line balancing for productivity.

  • Identify manufacturing cost reductions opportunities.

  • Assist in Optimizing machining processes to reach product quality, efficiency and process repeatability.

  • Execute LEAN manufacturing techniques and designs throughout the plant.

  • Optimize workflow and cell designs for shop throughput.

  • Design machine and tools for new product or process.

  • Track and execute cost reduction for process improvements.

  • Plan, execute and manage projects to complete through product continuous improvement.

  • Develop and sustain employees training and development on lean concepts.

  • Develop measurement systems supporting lean manufacturing philosophy.

  • Lead value stream mapping exercises to determine and record business improvement areas.

  • Drive improvements in Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory (High 5 Metrics).

  • Execute daily Tier Board Process requirements.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in lean or continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading continuous improvement projects.

  • Six Sigma certification.

  • Excel programming experience (macros/VBA).
