Robert Half Paralegal in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Description We are looking to recruit a Paralegal to join our team in the Manufacturing industry, located in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity where you will be supporting our corporate legal department in general corporate legal matters, including matters associated with the company’s public company compliance and corporate governance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the drafting and reviewing of correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents

• Perform legal research on various aspects of corporate governance and compliance

• Handle legal administrative matters as assigned to support the smooth functioning of the department

• Monitor and manage corporate entities to ensure adherence to corporate governance matters

• Utilize skills in Relativity, Ediscovery, Litigation ParaLegal, Commercial Litigation, and Corporate Governance to execute tasks efficiently

• Engage in the review of customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Requirements • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.

• Experience in a Paralegal role within a manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Proficiency in legal software such as Relativity and Ediscovery is required.

• Familiarity with commercial litigation and corporate governance is essential.

• Must have strong research and report-writing skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are required.

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• Must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel is required.

• Must have the ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Must have a keen eye for detail and impressive analytical skills.

• Previous experience in litigation for a manufacturing company is a plus.

• Must have the ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks.

• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

• Must be able to interpret and analyze complex legal documents.
