Please consider joining our amazing NNP team while we move forward with a state of the art new unit build. We will have 16 individual rooms with 3 capable of housing twins. We provide 24 hour NNP in house coverage in two NICUs. Our main campus and level 3 NICU is at Waukesha Memorial. Services provided there include iNO, total body cooling and neonatal transport. Our level 2 unit is at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital where we care for neonates 32 weeks and over who may be briefly ventilated. Schedule Details:24 hour shifts to cover Birthing center and NICU at WMH and OMH A registered nurse with advanced education and training in care of at-risk and high-risk neonates. Responsible for the nature and quality of nursing care of critically ill neonates.Under the direction of a physician the NNP manages neonatal patients using collaboration, consultation, and direct care. The NNP is involved with the education of nursing staff, residents and students. Including: Maintains credentialswith procedural privileges through the medical staff officesat WMH and OMH. Maintains Neonatal NCC certification Participates in multidisciplinary mortality and morbidity rounds Participates and coordinates as needed in research activities within the NICU. Provides procedural support to the ED fornewborn/infant code blue. Qualifications: Displays a positive attitude about themselves, work and staff. Possesses excellent communication skills. Meets all necessary competencies within 6 months of hire. Possesses computer skills.
