The Engineering Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting and assisting project managers in new product development activities, including: new product introductions, cost reduction, technology integration, and lifecycle product support. The position requires entry-level cross-functional product development and business process knowledge, basic people leadership skills, inherent organizational skills, and a strong desire to gain project management experience.

This position works closely with all project managers and may require interaction with other functional team members as needed, including: product management, engineering, service, manufacturing operations, supply chain, marketing, quality, IT, finance. This role is responsible for supporting project management in data collection, report creation, and daily maintenance of all project office systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task with limited direction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Assist project office with upkeep of all ongoing reports and dashboards.

  • Assist in creation of new reports and data collection.

  • Perform quality checks on data for all project dashboards, and follow-up on missing information.

  • Support all levels of project managers with their projects as needed. This support will primarily be data tracking and following up with team members regarding deliverables.

  • Assis project managers with new report & dashboard generation as requested.

  • Support miscellaneous projects, which have no official project manager assigned, with basic project management (system) needs: template creation, system updates, etc.

  • Ability to deliver results while working simultaneously on multiple projects.

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

  • Basic understanding of business and product development processes.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Self-driven, highly motivated, flexible and high capacity to learn.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
