Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a full-time Teacher Aide to support a non-profit company in Waukegan or Beach Park, IL. This individual will report to, and be supported by, the Education Coordinator, who is onsite to help guide and inform your lesson practice and planning as a part of the Lake County structure. As the Teacher Aide, you will work with the Lead Teacher and Teacher Assistant on devising comprehensive lesson plans based on Lake County research-based methods for instruction. Lesson planning will entail devising individualized lesson plans for all children within your classroom, creating developmentally appropriate content based upon the ages and abilities within your classroom, and a commitment to best-in-class practices. Your role will also involve the implementation and management of the day-to-day lesson plans.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

HS Diploma or GED

6+ semester hours of Child Development coursework OR non-expired CDA Certification

1+ years of experience working in an early childhood or childcare program.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic computer proficiency

Plusses:

Bilingual in English and Spanish null
