Title: Overnight Status On Call RN, Coverage Area Varies

What You’ll Do:

• On call from 8p to 8a 3 days a week

• Considered to be status position despite total visits -mileage covered for travel.

• On Call Nurse dispatched by Triage RN to assist with urgent matters for home hospice and home health patients.

• Provide skilled nursing services to the patient in their own home under the direction of a physician’s plan of care.

• Provide education and promote patient’s rights and responsibilities for informed decision making in the plan of care.

• Assess and identify the patient’s holistic health care needs.

• Demonstrate competency in assessment and technical skills.

• Possess and utilize knowledge of pain control & symptom management.

  What You’ll Bring:

• Current R.N. license in the State of Maine.

• ANA certification in Home Health or Community Health Nursing encouraged.

• Current CPR card required.

• One year of recent clinical nursing experience required.

• A reliable car with insurance.
