JOB REQUIREMENTS: Livestock Handler 1st shift - 51909 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Johnsonville, LLC Livestock Handler Watertown, WI Position Overview: The successful candidate will be able to unload sows from trucks, move and handle livestock within the barn and pen areas, identify and monitor truck conditions, and track sow loads in SAP. Responsibilities: * Proper Humane Animal Handling is critical to this position. A successful candidate will understand that the animals always need to be treated with respect. + The use of raddle paddles to move animals is required * Ability to perform responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner * Must comply with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), USDA regulations and safety rules always * Unloading of animal trucks * Good verbal communication skills * Good decision making and problem-solving skills * Detail-oriented * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Date: February 10, 2025 Location: Watertown, WI Coach: Zach Stauffiger, Logistics Coordinator Member Status: Full Time, Hourly Starting Hourly Rate: \$25.95 Hours:1st shift - 4:00am - 2:00pm (end time will vary depending on production needs); Overtime expected and required.
