We are offering an exciting opportunity in Watertown, New York, for an In-House Contracts Attorney. The main function of this role revolves around managing contracts for a successful company to ensure legal compliance and safeguarding the organization's interests.

Location: Watertown, NY

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Role: Contracts Attorney

Salary: $93,300 - $110,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and evaluate contracts, including those for construction, design services, and procurement, ensuring they meet legal requirements and organizational objectives.

• Engage with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to negotiate terms and resolve disputes, aiming for favorable outcomes.

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align contractual agreements with project goals and timelines.

• Manage and resolve contract-related disputes, including claims and litigation, to protect the organization's interests.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in contracts management or experience in contract law.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

• Active license to practice law in ANY state in the US.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
