Robert Half is working with a client in the Cedar Valley area,. In this role you would be an integral part of an agile development team responsible for building and maintaining enterprise-level software solutions using the Microsoft .NET framework. As part of this position, team members are expected to actively participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

As the Developer, the ability to collaborate effectively within teams and contribute across multiple projects is essential. Individuals in this role begin to strengthen their problem-solving skills, mentor junior developers, and gain increased ownership over software development processes. The experience gained in this role provides the foundation for advancing to more senior positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct code reviews and walkthroughs for junior developers and peers

• Understand and execute tasks across the Software Development Life Cycle

• Apply expertise in CI/CD practices and release strategies.

• Utilize unit testing and test-driven development techniques.

• Manage environment setup and configuration

• Handle tasks for multiple projects

• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure project success.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code and provide constructive feedback during code reviews.

  Requirements

• 1–4 years of professional experience in software development, with prior internship experience preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft .NET development stack, primarily in C#.

• Ability to design and develop enterprise-grade software solutions.

• Familiarity with source control tools and continuous integration/deployment environments.

• Experience in automated testing and debugging.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum.

• Practical experience with multi-threading and concurrency principles.

• Strong skills in performance profiling and optimization practices
