Trinity Health Inpatient Pharmacy Technician Supervisor in Waterbury, Connecticut

Position Purpose

Provides safe, quality technical and non-technical functions which assist in provision of pharmaceutical care under the supervision and direction of a registered pharmacist in accordance with level of experience, education, policies and procedures. Accountable for leading, managing and advancing people, processes and / or programs that support direct or indirect patient care.

What you will do

  • Supervise daily functions, professional & frontline staff

  • Support alignment and standardization for Pharmacy services across the continuum of care to provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care

  • Monitor quality assurance activities and issues, identifies opportunities, and creates corrective action plans to improve operational effectiveness

  • Collaborate in identifying analytics and metrics to demonstrate baseline and performance improvement targets

  • Support medication safety measures and efficient operational processes

  • Support optimization of procurement and distribution processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

  • CT registration as a Pharmacy Technician

  • Three (3) years of experience

  • National PTCB certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
