Description
SUMMARY
The Echo/Ultrasound Technologist shall perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, general, abdominal/OB-Gyn, and vascular.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)
Perform high quality echocardiograms and stress echos and general ultrasound including abdomen and OB/GYN and vascular studies in accordance with all policies and procedures.
Competently set up and assist radiologist and pathologist during procedures.
Working with the EMR’s to generate and complete exam orders.
Perform, record, and analyze QC data in order to make judgments concerning the results and take appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision.
Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by performing equipment checks, cleaning work area, and monitoring temperatures in accordance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Graduate from an accredited school of ultrasound
RDCS registered, preferred or obtain after hire
RVT registrations, preferred or obtain after hire
RDMS(AB,OB-GYN) , preferred or obtain after hire
BLS required, or obtain within 6 months of hire
