JPMorgan Chase Strategic Threats Program Manager - Vice President in Washington, District Of Columbia

Global Security is seeking a professional to support the Strategic Threats team who is interested in a unique opportunity to help strategize, socialize, and implement a new, cutting-edge program which requires significant critical thinking, creativity, complex problem solving and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across a large international organization to identify and mitigate strategic threats.

As a Program Manager, Vice President within the Strategic Threats team, you will have the opportunity to work with other highly motivated team members in implementing a new, exciting program aimed at identifying and assessing strategic threats, to include those from nation state actors, with the potential to compromise the firm's data, workforce or supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. This role offers high visibility across Global Security as well as the opportunity to work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders across the firm related to the development and delivery of firm-wide solutions that enable the detection, analysis and mitigation of strategic threats to the firm. Key functions will include partnering with stakeholders across the firm on collaborative initiatives such as the identification of nation state targeting of employees or supply chain, analytic assessments and support to investigations, development of a new high risk position program as well as the development and delivery of education and awareness related to strategic threats facing the firm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and leverage collaborative partnerships to identify solutions to help identify and mitigate potential nation state-related threats to the firm.

  • Develop and deliver education and awareness materials related to strategic threats to the firm.

  • Develop SOPs, job aids and other material capturing Strategic Threats processes and procedures.

  • Utilize multiple databases to conduct research on various threats facing the firm, particularly from nation state actors.

  • Produce analysis on specific risks, threats and contribute to other strategic analysis products.

  • Conduct research and analysis in support of nation state related investigations.

  • Support the controls environment, data integrity, metrics, and trends analysis.

  • Communicate complex strategic threat issues in a way that is understandable to a variety audiences and present structured senior management updates on program initiatives.

  • Enhance and manage detailed project plans, including definition of roles, responsibilities, and milestones.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in counterintelligence investigations or analysis, intelligence operations or intelligence analysis, assessing complex threats from nation state actors and insider threats

  • Experience leveraging critical thinking skills to strategize and demonstrate 'out of the box' thinking and creativity in order to solve complex problems and deliver results in a fast paced environment

  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise-wide risk/security initiatives

  • Experience conducting or supporting counterintelligence or insider threat related investigations

  • Experience in effectively understanding, analyzing, and communicating complex risks

  • Ability to handle a high level of pressure associated with complex projects in a demanding customer environment and ability to communicate those projects to all levels, including senior leadership.

  • Strong communication, writing and analysis skills, with a focus on attention to detail and producing concise analysis.

  • Ability to leverage multiple data sets and tools to support complex research and analysis.

  • Strong negotiation and influence skills with all levels of organization as well as the ability to influence people who do not report to you in order to achieve results

  • Ability to create and deliver effective and compelling presentations using PowerPoint and conduct data analysis.

  • Minimum of an Undergraduate degree, preferably a master's degree related to Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Political Science or related field.
