Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Pricing Strategist who will drive pricing initiatives for Sales and Service products in the Oracle Customer Experience (CX) SaaS Application suite.

Our CX pricing models are subscriptions with a recurring revenue model and an integrated quote to cash to renewal process is critical to our success. This integrated end-to-end experience begins with the right pricing model and clean implementation across several systems.

As a member of the Product Management team, you will work with Product Managers, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to implement new Sales and Service offerings. You will contribute to innovative pricing and packaging model development with your analysis of pricing scenarios. You will also support the Sales field by answering pricing questions, and licensing inquiries, and contributing to Sales enablement materials.

You should be interested in working with a diverse set of teams and bring a high level of intellectual curiosity and proficiency to leverage business data insights for pricing recommendations and execution.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This role will manage the implementation and support of Pricing and SKU initiatives for Sales and Service SaaS applications.

Attention to detail, data analysis and written/verbal communication skills are needed to work across all areas of the company including product management, operations, finance, sales, and engineering.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Project Manage implementation process of SKUs for new and existing products. Collaborate with Product Managers, Development, Pricing Operations, Finance, and other teams to ensure releases are done effectively and on time.

  2. Support Account teams day-to-day to answer pricing and license questions and resolve issues. Contribute to the creation of Sales Enablement and training materials.

  3. Conduct data and market analysis to support data-driven pricing decisions

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of pricing, product management, project management or related business analysis experience

  • Affinity for data with an inclination to seek out data to inform decisions

  • Business acumen and understanding of the role of pricing within broader business context

  • Results oriented, tenacious, diagnostic thinker and problem solver

  • Proficient in spreadsheet modeling and analysis and presentation development

  • Familiar with Business Intelligence and Analytics Software like Oracle Analytics Cloud, Tableau, or PowerBI preferred

  • High level of comfort when speaking or presenting to peers, managers and executives

  • Ability to break down complex concepts and determine what information needs to be presented based on the audience

  • Business, Finance or Economics degree or related work experience desired, Masters preferred

  • Knowledge of CRM, SFA and Customer Service Cloud applications a plus

US: Hiring Range: from $114,500 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
