Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a SharePoint Developer with a Secret Clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is hybrid: 2 days on-site at Fort McNair and other days remote according to client’s requirements.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Designs and builds new apps, and custom innovative solutions in the SharePoint Online environment using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Dataverse, and User Centered Design principles without assistance.

  • Collect, refine, review requirements, and develop updates and enhancements for SharePoint sites.

  • Identify opportunities for improving and enhancing presentation of information by leveraging applications, widgets, workflows, etc.; streamlining or improving existing workflows and processes; and automating manual processes.

  • Experience with SharePoint Online, PowerApps, Flow, PowerBI, Teams, and other Office 365 applications.

  • Experience with modeling and development, and performing administration tasks such as creating/configuring SharePoint sites and managing user permissions

  • Experience creating dashboards/Business Intelligence products based on key performance indicators.

  • Meet independently with customers to gather and document requirements for SharePoint development/modification.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for obtaining customer feedback on mockups, user tests, and production software.

  • Help manage the administration and security of the Microsoft Power Platform.

  • Utilize Power Automate to create business process flows as appropriate.

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards with underlying data using Power BI.

  • Work independently as well as part of a highly collaborative team, to solve problems, create best in class solutions, and occasionally lead project initiatives.

  • Must have excellent English language verbal and written communications skills.

  • Must be detail-oriented with a keen focus on quality and continuous improvement.

  • Must stay current with Microsoft technologies and provide research/documentation as needed.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Current active Secret Security Clearance

  • 3+ years hands-on experience with SharePoint, SharePoint On-Line.

  • Proficiency in Programming Languages and Frameworks:

  • Be adept in languages such as JavaScript, and jQuery.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, PowerShell, and the SharePoint Framework.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
