PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Support the research, development, acquisition, and support of several programs including CREW, JEOD, UWEOD, ExMed, ATA, and other future programs that are assigned to PMS 408. The program will include tasks to be executed in various locations including NAVSEA Headquarters, at the contractor’s assigned duty location, or any other DD-254 approved off-site location. Other sites may be required on an as directed basis or may be permitted on as requested basis.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activity’s and agency’s needs

• Responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans. This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiation with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources

• Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs are also essential tasks

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Master of Science degree in a recognized engineering, scientific, mathematics, or technical discipline from an accredited college or university preferred

• 10 or more years of qualifying experience

• Experience in directing progressively complex programs and systems of a technical nature with at least half of the years of experience in directing efforts involving management and/or supervision of technical and administrative personnel to complete tasks relating to the design, development, integration and delivery of complex systems for program areas such as Counter Radio Electronic Warfare (CREW), Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal (JEOD), Underwater Explosive Ordnance Disposal (UWEOD), Expeditionary Medical (ExMed), and Anti-Terrorism Afloat (ATA).
