About The Role:

As a CBRE Sales Associate, you will assist in developing new businesses by selling, leasing, and marketing for large and high-profile commercial real estate properties. This job is part of the Sales function. They are responsible for the design of sales solutions that are presented and sold to potential, new and existing clients.

What You'll Do:

  • Work under the direct supervision and guidance of an experienced team of sales professionals.

  • Learn specific business development processes, research techniques and screening procedures to help identify viable commercial property leads in the market.

  • Impact outcomes by following defined processes, methods and tasks but use critical thinking to discover a fresh approach or solutions to achieve continuous improvement

  • Assist with communications to existing and prospective clients. (Prepare correspondence, identify & distribute relevant research reports, market updates & marketing materials.)

  • Assist with transaction management, as required, throughout the real estate execution stages to include, to include monitors completion of key contracts such as listing agreements, commission agreements, leases, and sales agreements. Help maintain accurate and complete documentation and entries in company’s CRM. Monitor termination and lease expiration dates to ensure timely attention to clients.

  • Provide some general administrative support to the team (to include tasks such as editing of pitch/presentation documents, filing expense reports, prepare commission agreements/ vouchers and help to produce special communications and events for clients.

  • Represent team and company at events, team presentations and tours.

  • High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Real Estate Salesperson (DC, VA and/or MD) license is a plus.

  • Ability to learn and apply range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within this real estate sales job function.

  • Ability to evaluate and communicates unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sales Associate position is $70,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Sales Associate position is $80,000 annually.
