We’re searching for a Sr. Communications Manager, who will serve as a Program Manager overseeing a federal account that focuses on the financial sector. In this role you will:

  • Manage and oversee the implementation of communications and outreach strategies.

  • Evaluate and assign staff for the creation of deliverables, managing activities and schedules.

  • Guide projects from start to finish , overseeing and managing any project challenges or obstacles .

  • Lead and oversee the efforts of a team of communicators.

  • Excel in writing client-facing reports and external-facing communications products.

  • Oversee all facets of performance, including monitoring budgets, schedules, deliverables, and adherence to the contract.

  • Design integrated communications campaigns for a variety of accounts; direct and implement public relations or public affairs programs.

  • Offer technical, editorial and managerial support across all project management facets and communications-related deliverables (e.g., strategic communications plans, content creation, writing and editing, design services, media, multimedia, web content, etc.) to ensure compliance with contractual specifications.

  • Act as the government’s main liaison for all project-related support and managing issues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field

  • 10+ years of hands-on supervisory and/or management experience dealing with time sensitive demands in marketing, media, and strategic communications.

  • 10+ years of hands-on managing projects from a delivery, financial, and management perspective

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field

  • Experience managing or implementing communications related to investor relations

  • Superior media relations and client services skills

  • Superior oral and written communications skills

  • Exceptional analytic and problem-solving abilities

  • Understanding of financial and banking industry trends

  • Experience supporting a government or federal agency

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$96,367.00 - $163,825.00
