Program Manager

The Mission: D&G is seeking an experienced Program Manager to assist the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations (OFO) with integrated strategic planning support. The Program Manager will lead a team of communications and marketing professionals to perform stakeholder analysis and develop communications and marketing plans to achieve CBP OFO strategic objectives. This is an outstanding opportunity to support CBP OFO’s mission to secure the border while facilitating lawful trade and travel that supports our national economy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages the overall performance of the program, ensuring the achievement of all deliverables, milestones and quality requirements.

  • Provides direction and vision for projects and oversees strategy.

  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and reporting.

  • Ensures that all staff are provided the necessary tools, guidance, plans, processes, procedures, and resources to perform tasks.

  • Oversees resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution across the project.

  • Ensures that project activities comply with contractual requirements and performance metrics.

  • Primary point of contact for client.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain CBP Suitability

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10 years of experience developing and implementing customer experience strategies and capabilities

  • 5 years implementing customer experience at DHS components or other law enforcement agencies

  • 10 years program management experience

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • CBP suitability within the last 36 months.

Place of Performance: This is a hybrid position with onsite in the Washington, D.C. Capital Region.
