Summary This position is located in the Corporate Operations Branch, Corporate & Legal Operations Section, Legal Information Technology Unit in the Legal Division and is responsible for providing comprehensive cost effective information technology services. Responsibilities Plans, execute, and coordinates a range of project management Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities for complex systems development, enhancement and maintenance projects. Identifies business processes that can benefit from automation. Recommends appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership. Advises the team in the selection and application of appropriate problem solving methods and techniques, provide advice on work methods, actionable events, practices and procedures, and assists the team and/or individual members in identifying the parameters of a viable solution. Develops, implements and maintains quality automation strategies, prototypes, and solutions to streamline tasks that are efficient, supportable and consistent. Develops and maintains scalable Legal business-led developed tools and applications; develops and generates management reports, data visualizations, and other solutions by leveraging FDIC enterprise technology such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, ServiceNow and SharePoint to develop FDIC ad-hoc reports, automate workflows and manage information. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify at the CG-13 level: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 12 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience executing and delivering IT solutions with project management methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, or Waterfall, including execution of technical tasks related to the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and management of IT systems or applications; developing, implementing and maintaining automation strategies, prototypes, and solutions to streamline tasks; and experience with Microsoft software development technologies including MS Power Apps to deliver web applications. To qualify at the CG-14 level: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 13 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience executing and delivering IT solutions with project management methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, or Waterfall, including execution of technical tasks related to the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and management of IT systems or applications; developing, implementing and maintaining automation strategies, prototypes, and solutions to streamline tasks; and experience with Microsoft software development technologies including .NET or MS Power Platform solutions including power apps, power BI and Power Automate and Tableau to deliver web applications.
