Role Overview

The Enterprise Growth Strategy team is a newly created organization supporting growth across Humana's businesses. The team has a strong dotted-line partnership with the Medicare and Medicaid organization, Humana's largest, which comprises over 80% of the company's total revenue and the majority of its earnings. Team members partner with the senior leaders of the business unit, and more broadly with leaders throughout the enterprise, as they deliver strategy projects addressing some of the businesses' most important opportunities and challenges. These high-profile strategy projects place the team at the forefront of helping to define the future of the organization.

Humana is seeking an experienced team member to support the delivery of Enterprise Growth's highest priority projects and lead critical processes to prepare Growth leadership for interactions with Humana's Executive Management Team and Board of Directors. As a Program Management Consultant, you will be at the forefront of crafting compelling narratives that crisply communicate the Growth team's priorities and highlight the most salient aspects of the team's strategy. In addition, you will play a central role in prioritizing strategic initiatives and tracking the Growth team's performance against its stated strategic objectives, while partnering with Growth leaders to ensure risks to the strategy are identified and mitigated as they arise.

Your project work will be focused on deconstructing issues and challenges, and crafting sound, logical solutions and recommendations. In this highly cross-functional, high visibility role, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow team members, subject matter experts, members of Humana's Executive Management Team, and corporate, functional, and business unit leaders. While diving in deep in some areas, you will also have a bird's-eye view of the Growth team's overall strategy.

Recent projects include assessing the performance of strategic initiatives and business areas, refreshing the Medicare Advantage growth strategy, and identifying improvement opportunities for a key business function.
