ManTech Data Analyst - OI-SBIC, Journeyman in Washington, District Of Columbia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented to Data Analyst OI-SBIC, Journeyman join our team in the Washington, D.C. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Data Analyst for OI-SBIC performs the following: collect and analyze structured and unstructured data, producing statistical results and conclusions in understandable and informative products.

  • They interpret CBP structured and unstructured data as well as other law enforcement agency data and exercise independent judgment to produce statistical analytic products using regression time series, confidence intervals, predictive modeling, and exploratory data analysis.

  • They implement best practices, Agile Development Methodology/ Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) to ensure design consistency for the best user experience.

  • Use scientific inquiry in the independent development of statistical models to evaluate and predict illegal border activity.

  • They develop models to test, analyze, and evaluate non-linear law enforcement data sets.

  • They serve as an expert on modeling techniques such as regression, predictive, and time-series.

  • They provide feedback and guidance on projects.

  • They design, develop and maintain user-friendly data visualizations using complex datasets from different sources.

  • They oversee the oversee the development and delivery of the Toolkits Release Notes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) customer Toolkits.

  • They conduct training sessions to the end-users.

  • They assess and improve data integration and services through automation of customer missions and needs.

  • They analyze and evaluate the accuracy and validity of data.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related discipline. 2 years of position-specific relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expertise in data, project, and time management. Master's degree in technical discipline.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
