Metcor Ltd Content Editor - TriCare Subject Matter Expert in Washington, District Of Columbia
About The Position
METCOR/LSIhas a need for aContent Editorwith expertise in TRICAREBeneficiary and Provider policies, processes and systemstoreview learning materials and provide feedback ensuring accuracy and authenticity.This is a remote, 1099 contract roleoffering 32-40 hours weekly and a one-year Period of Performance.

Duties and Responsibilities in the Content Editor role include, but are not limited to:
- Proofread and edit learning content for accuracy, consistency, and a high level of quality, including, but not limited to scripts, e-learning courses, guides and videos
- Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improving the clarity, coherence, and effectiveness of training materials
- Track changes and revisions to training materials
- Collaborate effectively with instructional designers and other learning developers
Required Skills and Abilities for the Content Editor role:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
Education and Experience for the Content Editor role:
- 3-5 years of experience in TRICARE beneficiary and Provider policies, process, and systems
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Instructional Design, Education, or English is preferred
- 1-3 years of experience designing and developing training materials on a variety of topics is preferred
Physical Requirements of the Content Editor role:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Compensation
- $85 - $100 hourly
