Communications & Marketing SME

The Mission: D&G is seeking an experienced Communications & Marketing SME to assist the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations (OFO) with integrated strategic planning support. The Communications & Marketing provides expert guidance on communication strategies and marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with CBP OFO strategic objectives. This is an outstanding opportunity to support CBP OFO’s mission to secure the border while facilitating lawful trade and travel that supports our national economy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develops and executes strategic marketing and communications plans that align with project goals.

• Provides expert advice on public relations, media strategies, and stakeholder engagement.

• Coordinates with internal teams to ensure that all marketing and communications efforts are cohesive and effective.

• Analyzes market trends and audience insights to inform communication strategies.

• Leads the development of marketing materials, campaigns, and promotional efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain CBP Suitability

• Bachelor's Degree

• 7 years of relevant experience

• Preferred Qualifications:

• CBP suitability within the last 36 months.

Place of Performance: This is a hybrid position with onsite in the Washington, D.C. Capital Region.
