Change Management Manager
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a public-sector management consulting firm serving federal health and social services agencies is seeking a Change Management Manager to lead teams to support the change components of various implementation of various types of Veterans Health Care Transformation efforts. Experience with Veteran’s Health Administration of other federal healthcare clients is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop plans associated with assessing the current state of the organization and change, implementation of major organizational transformation activities and initiatives, communications associated with major initiatives, risk assessment, and sustainment/transition
Conduct stakeholder analysis, impact analysis, and implementation planning. Produce output materials and recommendations based on material and stakeholder discussions
Conduct interview, managing focus group discussions, and facilitating change management discussions
Complete change management assessments and change management strategy
Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
Integrate change management activities into project plan, evaluating and ensuring user readiness
Create actionable deliverables, such as a communication plan, roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, or resistance management plan
Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Track and report issues, project management tasks
Determine issue and escalation approach with leadership, both within and outside of the project
Effectively lead and manage teams
Apply soft skills to build integration within the team and effectivity know how to adapt to changing client demands from a project delivery perspective
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of nine (9) years of change management experience
Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting federal clients with a strong preference for federal health care
Proven ability to execute executive-level oral and written communications (briefings, presentations, and strategic documentation)
Strong analytical skills with ability to define, collect, and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make logical decisions
Proven experience developing detailed project plans, project budgets, resource plans, and risk management plans
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Proven ability to lead teams and to work independently
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship indefinitely
Ability to obtain a Public Trust if required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the application of Prosci
Strong facilitation skills
Large-consulting company and cross-industry experience
Department of Veterans Affairs experience - Experience with change activities in healthcare organizations and the Veteran Community
Prosci Change Management certification
