HOW THE ASSET MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Assuming responsibility for the success of all IT asset lifecycle services such as purchasing, asset management, warehousing, and the coordination and technical support for IT HW and SW installations;

  • Evaluating and monitoring the security practices of vendors and supply chain partners; 

  • Maintaining program service levels and specifications as they pertain to ITassets and end user support SLAs;

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with HW, SW, and support vendors;

  • Adhering to a formal change control process to ensure agreement on all objectives and tasks;

  • Adhering to the quality assurance plan for the program and all task orders.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education : A bachelor’s degree(or equivalent years of experience) in a relevant field and anITIL 4 Foundation Certificationarerequired.

  • Experience : at least eight (8) years of experience providing end-user support services, five (5) of which spent providing direct customer support. In addition, the Asset Managerwill have four (4) years of experiencemanaging a large, distributed team, configuration management (i.e., CMDBs), and vendor management.Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Standards.

  • Security clearance level : All contract personnel must pass a United States Capitol Police background check and are required to be U.S. persons (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee or asylee) to be eligible to work on the contract.

  • Skills and abilities: Experience delivering to ‘white glove’ service standards including serving a large VIP population.

The likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
