Workday Financials SME
Vistrada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Workday Financials planning and implementation engagements supporting key clients. In this role, the candidate will engage with the client to provide advisory and technical leadership. The candidate will assist the client in managing their vendors and implementation partners . The ideal candidate must have at least 7+ years of relevant experience , as described below.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Vistrada is seeking an experienced Workday Financials SME who will be expected to:
Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
Apply technical knowledge to determine solutions and solve complex problems.
Work closely with business analysts, subject matter experts and development teams in design, development, testing, implementation, and support of application projects.
Participate in and contribute to formal/informal technical reviews and presentations.
Research, present and/or make recommendations on technical issues.
Explore new ideas and initiatives that encourage innovation.
Identify Best Practices for implementing Workday Financials Purchasing and Procurement modules and supporting processes.
Serve as a SME consultant advising the client management team as a technical and implementation expert.
Assist in RFP selection of the Workday Financials implementation partner.
Assist with the management of the Workday and implementation partner team resources assigned to the project.
Requirements / Skills:
7+ years of Workday Financials implementation experience/knowledge, specifically in support of Purchasing and Procurement modules and processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
Expertise to provide unbiased advice, formulate courses of action, analyze programs, and make recommendations across a wide spectrum of Workday Financials areas and processes.
Passionate, goal driven, team-oriented, and outgoing.
Flexible, self-starter, and demonstrated ability to operate effectively with ambiguous and evolving objectives in a client-facing environment.
Effective written and communication skills.
Preferred / Skills:
BA/BS Degree or equivalent.
Relevant Workday Financials experience in education (K-12) and/or not-for-profit environments.
4+ years of experience managing, mentoring, and collaborating across multiple teams, spanning senior leadership, management, and development teams.
Position: Part-Time contract
Location: Washington DC / Remote & Onsite as necessary
