Job Title: Field Service Electrician

Job Description

Field Service Electrician will be troubleshooting and repairing electric motors used in fans and various types of pumps. These pumps and fans are primarily used in the agricultural industry and various sewer plants. The candidate will troubleshoot and test various electrical currents and work with a wide range of voltages. Responsibilities include traveling locally to various clients to remove old electric motors and pumps, and installing those motors and pumps once they have been rebuilt in the shop. Customer sites are approximately 1-2 hours away, ensuring you will be home every day. One of the Electricians will need to be open to longer trips from time to time, approximately 4-6 weeks out of the year, for out-of-state assignments lasting a few days to a week.

1st shift: 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Primary Skills

• Mechanically inclined

• Electrical Troubleshooting

• Knowledge of small motors and engines

• Understanding of AC/DC currents

• Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills

Secondary Skills

• Team-oriented

• Willingness to help where required

• Ability to work well in a team

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Washington Boro, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Climate controlled shop with a lot of equipment. Overall fairly clean but can get dirty depending on the task.
