Job Description Summary

As an Ultrasound Application Specialist you will deliver clinical and operational expertise by providing excellent education and training support within a specific modality (Ultrasound) or product portfolio to clinical end-users. You as a clinical expert will facilitate evidence-based practice and support the customer experience and commercial teams from pre-sale through post implementation by providing effective outcome-based education and training solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provides on-site and in depth learning sessions to external customers and focuses on leveraging and maintaining the technical and clinical knowledge, related to the product, of the end users. Has the ability to propose solutions that address complicated, day-to-day problems and customer requirements.

  • Designs alternative training solutions to address special customer requests and offers online educational modules. Combines and uses digital solutions to deliver advanced trainings and educational information.

  • Investigate and analyses local market needs and utilizes in-depth knowledge of product lines, or customer groups to execute strategy. Prioritizes information to support the commercial strategy on projects.

  • Focuses on training local internal, direct and indirect teams on new technologies and product offerings and ensure the proper educational modules and materials are distributed.

  • Is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

  • Builds, maintains and enhances relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in co-operation with the local commercial teams (Direct or Indirect) and Relevant Segment Product Manager.

  • A job at this level requires strong interpersonal skills. Acts as a resource for colleagues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and ultrasound technical/clinical industry experience.

  • Demonstrated experience working on ultrasound systems.

  • Deep understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience.

  • Willingness to travel extensively 75+% (4-5 days per week including overnights).

  • Driving license

  • Good knowledge of English

  • Ability to work independently, excellent organizational skills

  • Prior experience in the medical equipment field, will be considered a significant plus. Especially if relevant experience is in medical Ultrasound field.
