The Role
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be part of the Value Chain Team focused primarily on international flow optimization and must have the ability to work well independently and within a team. In this role you will define the industrial strategy for your product line (both new and existing products) through value chain analyses, designing supply chain solutions, and implementing continuous improvement actions. You will, work closely with Industrialization Project Manager, Supply Chain Engineering Project Manager, Finance, Process Engineer, Master data specialists, Operations, Trade Compliance, to develop the industrial strategy.
What you will do:
Define end-to-end supply chain solutions for your product line, based on Value Stream Mapping methodology, aiming to achieve the best balance between total cost, service level, and risk reduction.
Perform detailed Supply Chain analysis and on different industrials scenarios, scored on a comprehensive set of KPIs (service level, landed cost, working capital, industrial footprint, …).
Extract, analyze, and compile data using SAP ERP and SAP BW;
Ensure alignment with our global Supply chain development strategy.
Present options and recommendation to top management for validation.
Work with Finance, Operations, Sourcing, Process Engineering from the early phases of Industrial projects to define the cost structure, build the business cases and the NPV calculation.
Document, maintain and update Logistics Flows, in close link with master data, transport, and trade compliance.
Participate to projects related to Value Chain reengineering for current product lines (continuous improvement, support of company initiatives, external changes) and for New Product Introduction.
What you need to have:
Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Engineering, with specialization in Finance
3 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering or Value Stream Mapping
Ability to work within cross-functional projects and teams, both on-site and remotely
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and calculations
Deep understanding of financial and business issues
Proficient in Excel and other office tools
Good knowledge of SAP is a must
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (BW, Power BI) is an advantage
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English (at least B2 level)
