We are looking for an experienced Marketing professional with great Shopper analytical skills to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).
Now, Let’s Get Down To Business
A role to work with the dedicated region, to coordinate and implement the marketing programs. To ensure that initiatives deliver in-store & online with excellence to ultimately win the point of purchase moment. Create and implement activation plans that drive business growth consistently with the overall regional strategy. Support to the Sales Head to include Market Price Mapping / Forecasting and activation plan management on and offline. Champion and communicate segment activation plans to the Commercial Team.
This role is ideal for a highly successful and experienced trade marketing manager who works with sales teams with confidence, collaborates effectively within matrixed teams, and knows how to drive results.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:
• Development of activation plans: Responsible for delivering a winning program of initiatives across the portfolio of segments – developing an integrated in-store activation program that drives consumer & shopper interest and maximises sales performance.
• Retailer understanding: Working alongside the Commercial Team and Category Development, you will use insight data and knowledge of the trade channel and customers to create relevant and effective activation plans that drive business growth.
• Brand identity: Responsible for working closely with brand teams to understand brand equity and then translate that into activation plans across the respective countries.
• Category: Define KBD & category fundamentals per channel and market to win across all trade channels / markets and monitor execution. Monitor competitive environment, and shoppers’ behaviors / insights to recommend actions.
• Evaluation of activities: Review the success of initiatives, identifying improvements and opportunities for new initiatives, and then share these insights with the wider team to improve plans.
• Investment priorities: Responsible for working closely with commercial team to understand retailers’ priorities and therefore investment priorities.
• POS & Trade materials: Leverage the EU Mktg/Hub POS design to the retailers’ shoppers. Develop any customer specific trade material, in line with the brand objectives and identity.

This is a great opportunity for someone with significant Shopper or Trade marketing experience gained experience within a Consumer Goods or Cosmetics company. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.
Here’s what we are looking for:
• Significant experience in Customer / Shopper / Trade Marketing function with background in FMCG organisations.
• Educated to degree level in Marketing or Business-related discipline
• Experience in developing shopper strategies that grow brands, enhance customer relationships, and entice consumers/shoppers.
• Proven track record in delivering excellence in execution that drive purchase and engagement.
• Ability to manage budgets effectively.
• Consumer/Shopper Savvy: Able to generate and implement ideas of how to increase purchase and make brands first choice based on target consumers/shoppers.
• Influencing: ability to build credible relationships both internally and externally. Regularly solicits others’ ideas and perspectives and allows space in a conversation for people to contribute.
• Collaboration and Communication: A strong team player who can engage and collaborate cross functionally to deliver against objectives.
• Computer literate in MS Office; Excellent presentation skills to small-medium groups; Strong analytical and conceptual skills; Solid project management
• Agency management: dealing with various marketing agencies (BTL, research, POSM, etc.)
• Language skills: Fluent English (C1); Polish (C1), Hungarian, Czech or Romanian would be a strong asset.
