UL, LLC Senior Payroll Coordinator in Warsaw, Poland

Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, our Senior Payroll Coordinator will autonomously run end-end payroll cycles, verify payroll data, assist in balancing and reconciliation of payroll-related general ledger accounts and manage the garnishment process working with our payroll provider.

  • Inputs data into the payroll system as needed. Verifies accuracy of manual data entry through balancing and performing the comparison for differences.

  • Runs payroll cycles according to payroll schedule. Resolves out-of-balance conditions through research.

  • Assists the Payroll Manager in reconciliation of the Payroll Register with Oracle HCM.

  • Participates in testing functionality when upgrades occur. Assists in year-end and year-begin processes.

  • Performs testing, setup and maintenance on earning codes, deduction codes and imports.

  • Loads payroll disbursements to the bank and coordinates funding with Accounting.

  • Processes the garnishments with the payroll provider. Communicates with employees in payroll-related matters as needed.

  • Performs tax registrations as needed.

  • Project Assignments as required (e.g. onboarding of acquisitions, integration of systems, continuous service and process improvements).

  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

  • Around 5 years of directly related experience in payroll administration or HR operations with exposure to payroll systems and processes.

  • At least B2/C1 level of English language is a must.

  • Working knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and procedures.

  • Working knowledge of Payroll/HRIS systems including report writing.

  • Expert knowledge of federal, state and local tax codes.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
