Team/Role Overview

Calculation Services Team is developing strategic stress engine calculators nested on Hadoop solutions estimating liquidity forecast according to regulatory requirements. The team plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s success, having a real impact on its growth. What you’ll do

You will be responsible for developing new features and improving existing functionalities, while mentoring less experienced team members. Additionally, you will play a key role in shaping the team’s direction by ensuring adherence to best coding practices and overseeing the technical strategy to guide the team.

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications with Angular and Java, as well as plain Java applications

• Supervising the Team to maintain the highest architecture and coding standards

• Collaboration within the international Team to deliver the application functionalities successfully and effectively

• Be proactive and ensure the software developed by the Team remains compliant with prescribed best practices

What we’ll need from you

We are looking for a team player with strong programming knowledge and analytical skills. You should be self-reliant, eager to learn new things, and comfortable taking responsibility for your work. Openness to continues learning and collaboration is essential.

• Proficiency in Java and Angular, 8+ years of experience

• Experience in software architecture, redesign, refactoring

• Linux/shell scripting

• SQL, GIT, Gradle, Maven

• Experience working with scalable batch frameworks such as Hive, Spark, Tez

• Understanding of Yarn cluster architecture

• Strong problem solving, analytical thinking, communication skills
