The responsibilities of the Project Lead – R2R&ICO over projects includes but are not limited to the following:
Assisting R2R & ICO teams with ERP implementation projects especially JDE, including requirements gathering, system design, and system testing
Drive coordination efforts between R2R/ICO teams and project teams (such as process excellence, IT, I2P, local finance, and corporate finance)
Takes initiative and leads in the documentation of accounting projects and drives them to completion
Assist R2R & ICO teams with implementing process improvements and drives cross-departmental improvements (Cash, AP)
Drive accounting and process standardization initiatives
Analyzes accounting transactions and ensures accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
Maintains and performs an effective system of Internal Controls (SOX)
Lead and coordinate audit queries (external, internal)
Leads discussions and collaboration with relevant stakeholders and Local Finance Teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information
Team support for the region from operational point of view.
Coordinate escalations
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor/HBO in Accounting or equivalent certification
Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting position (preferably R2R & ICO)
Fluent spoken and written English.
Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive
Accustomed to work on dynamic, fast paced environment
Team Player
Shared Service experience is preferred
Strong excel skills
Experience in ERP systems and ERP implementations ( JDE, SAP4Hana)
Project management knowledge or experience is preferred
Communication, be able to effectively interact with all levels within the company
Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley Act and/or other internal control concepts, knowledge of US GAAP would be an advantage
Experience in managing people will be an advantage
