Title and Summary

Manager, Sourcing & Supplier Management

OVERVIEW

Regional Sourcing and Supplier Manager will be responsible for handling Mastercard’s end to end sourcing and supplier operations within an assigned region for those categories that require regional support or specific localization efforts or are led by regional teams. Employees within this role should be able to improve sourcing activities by recognizing potential efficiencies in their regional processes, as well as analyzing Mastercard’s spend, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating opportunities within the region.

ROLE

• Supports regions with supply base needs, handles more complex categories

• Manages sourcing strategy, sourcing operations and supplier relations to reduce costs and risks while improving value and supplier performance

• Supports with developing category and business unit and/or market strategies that enable spend management, improve supplier performance and mitigates risk

• Assists sourcing operations to provide category expertise by providing updates on market conditions, industry trends, product knowledge and emerging supply options

• Manages the strategic sourcing process by analyzing spend, defining requirements, developing strategy, authoring RFx's and negotiating contracts

"• Experience managing supply chains across multiple business units, reducing costs and risks while improving value and efficiencies

• Experience participating on global category teams to implement strategies on spend management, supplier performance and risk mitigation

• Experience supporting and enabling supply chain transformation efforts and strategic initiatives

"• Managed major elements of large, cross-functional projects

• Demonstrated consistent success working with partners across other business units in support of cross-functional programs

• Experience providing regular feedback to team members and resolving performance issues

• Experience interacting and communicating with executives to provide updates and recommendations on supply chain management

• Successfully develops a baseline understanding of MasterCard products
