Nielsen Infrastructure Service Delivery Leader in Warsaw, Poland

Nielsen is a dynamic and innovative technology company committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled regional Service Delivery Team Leader with 4-6 years of experience to join our team in Poland. The ideal candidate will possess a technical background, hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server administration, along with a strong capacity to oversee team members in other Countries and collaborate with Regional and Global teams.

Responsibilities - Team Leader Attitude

  • Capacity to motivate a team based in multiple Countries

  • Capacity to identify improvements and to tune exiting processes

  • User’s support attitude / customer oriented approach

  • Strong capacity to manage pressure

  • Communication skills required to interact with the other infrastructure leaders and with the business leaders in the Country and in the rest of the EMEA region

Responsibilities - Technical

  • Windows and MacOS laptops preparation with the Nielsen Standard Global Image

  • Provide end-user support for both Windows and MacOS environments.

  • Provide end-user support for Google Suite products (gmail, G-Drive, Google chat, etc..)

  • Provide hands on support for on-site meetings and broadcasts including setup and tear down of AV equipment, and monitoring AV technology during events

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications.

  • Administer Windows and Linux servers, ensuring their stability, integrity, and efficient operation.

  • Assist in system administration tasks, including user account management and system updates.

  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain server infrastructure.

  • Work closely with the cybersecurity team to implement security best practices.

  • Assist in monitoring and responding to security incidents.

  • Collaborate with network administrators to ensure smooth operation of the company's network.

  • Provide excellent customer service to end-users with a focus on effective communication and problem-solving.

  • Conduct user training sessions to enhance overall digital literacy.

  • Document and communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent years of experience

  • Proven years of hands-on experience in desktop support, system administration, and server administration (Windows and Linux).

  • Experience on managing remote infrastructure Support teams.

  • Demonstrated capacity to work in a Global environment and collaborate with various teams.

  • Project management experience driving complex infrastructure projects Process oriented approach.

  • Troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.

  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.

  • Experience collaborating with cybersecurity teams on security initiatives.

  • Knowledge of network fundamentals and troubleshooting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Desktop Administrator, Linux Professional Institute Certification) are a plus.

  • English speaking/writing is required for technical instructions, explanations and for conference call participation.
