ABOUT SPANISH 101 - ELEMENTARY SPANISH: This course develops Spanish listening, speaking, reading and writing skills at the novice level. Develops cultural awareness and introduces concepts of cultural diversity and tolerance. Emphasizes ability to use and understand basic Spanish in context.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and learning, adaptability, a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace technology. This person will strive to create and maintain personal connections with students and the college community.

They must be a friendly, enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic who contributes to Genesee's supportive community, dedicated to effective innovative strategies for student success. Incumbent must be mindful of and develop solutions that can accommodate all individuals to use GCC facilities without barriers, both digitally and physically.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

Master's Degree in subject area is required.

Teaching experience in a community college is preferred.

Incumbent will be required to instruct a synchronous model and have the knowledge to provide online synchronous instruction.

Ability to instruct Wednesdays, 4:30pm - 5:50pm.
