What You Can Expect

Responsible for the design, development, and processing of implant and instrument packaging under the direction of a project leader or manager.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Designing for manufacturability, inspectibility, and optimum cost

  • Generating prototype models to evaluate new design concepts

  • Coordinating product evaluation with surgeons

  • Generating comprehensive protocols for testing/analyzing the product

  • Generating design assurance documentation for the project

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 1 year with drafting standards and geometric differences and tolerances

  • Active participation in development meetings with surgeons and key Zimmer Biomet personnel

  • Ability to effectively work within a team to expedite completion of critical project tasks with other functional groups

  • Helping to identify customer requirements for a new product

  • Establishing a process method which meets performance and quality requirements

Your Background

  • B.S. in Packaging Engineering or Engineering discipline required plus 0-3 years of experience required.
