Duties

The IT Manager - SAP Finance is responsible for partnering with Corporate Finance leaders, process owners, and external consultants to establish end-to-end future state Finance processes and configure the SAP S4/HANA system to enable those processes. After the SAP S4/HANA system is implemented, the IT Manager will continue to partner with the Corporate Finance organization to support and improve the system. The role reports to the Director – Corporate Finance Applications but works independently and collaboratively.

• Collaborate with business leaders, process owners, and external consultants to establish long-term vision for Corporate/America’s Finance operations and end-to-end future state Finance

processes;

• Gather and align Finance business requirements and translate those to functional requirements;

• Provide techno-functional expertise and input on design decisions related to how the SAP S4/HANA system should be configured to enable Finance processes and integrate with other systems

and business partners;

• Partner with the Program Management Office to establish a workplan for the IT Finance workstream, monitor and drive the workplan, and report status;

• Manage risks and mitigation plans, issues, actions, and decisions for the IT Finance workstream;

• Assist with the preparation of test cases/scripts and the execution of system integration testing (SIT). Support user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed and monitor/report UAT progress;

• Assist with providing hypercare support including answering questions and triaging and resolving issues;

• Apply principles, concepts, and practices of IT Service Management (ITSM), Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC), and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC); and

• Proactively enforce global and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are protected.

Requirements - Education & Experience

Education Requirements - Requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related field (3 or 4 year bachelor’s degree accepted, 3 years of study toward a Bachelor’s degree accepted) or foreign equivalent.

Must have 7 years of combined IT and/or Finance professional experience.

Must have the following:

  • 7 years of SAP or JDE ERP Finance experience in an IT role

  • 5 years of experience capturing business requirements and translating those requirements into techno-functional designs and specifications

  • 5 years of experience preparing for and executing system testing activities

  • 5 years of experience utilizing formal SDLC and PMLC processes and tools to deliver projects

  • 3 years of experience with new end-to-end SAP or JDE ERP implementations and/or upgrades; and

  • 3 years of experience utilizing formal ITSM processes and tools in an IT role

Travel Expectations

Up to 10% of domestic travel required. Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Remote work permitted up to 5 days per week throughout the U.S.
