What is the job about?

As a Merchant Sales Promoter within DBS you will be working closely with our Area Sales Managers and external customers promoting the Grundfos brand and range of DBS products. Networking with the Merchant outlets and one-off installers will generate leads and create brand awareness to promote sales.

Area: Scotland & North, responsible for postcodes: KW, ZE, IV, AB, PH, DD, KY, FK, PA, G, KA., ML, EH, DG, TD, NE, DH, TS, DL, LA, CA

Your main responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction : Ensure visibility and engagement with customers, aiming for positive Customer Satisfaction Survey results.

  • Lead Generation : Collaborate with the Area Sales Managers to improve sales revenue.

  • Marketing & Sales Execution : Assist in implementing the company’s marketing and sales strategies.

  • Customer Training : Provide and conduct training sessions at merchant outlets.

  • Product Promotion : Promote and demonstrate products at events and exhibitions and organise merchant promotions and campaigns.

  • Trade Mornings : Utilise the DBS Demo Van for trade morning activities.

  • CRM Management : Update and use the Grundfos CRM system to generate leads and maintain accurate customer master data.

  • Sales Planning : Plan and execute daily sales calls.

Your background

We are seeking an outgoing, extroverted, and friendly individual who thrives on networking and engaging with customers. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and gets excited about new promotions, enjoys conducting demonstrations, and enjoys creating social media content. Your mission will be to get the Grundfos name and products in front of customers in the domestic building services market. If you love connecting with people and have a knack for making a brand shine, we want to hear from you!

We also imagine that you have:

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Outgoing with a positive attitude

  • Independent, organised, and able to structure your own time.

  • Ability and willingness to understand technical data and products.

  • Experience in the plumbing and heating industry- would be advantageous.

  • Ability to handle customer complaints in a professional way.

  • Full Driving License (mandatory)

  • Good IT Literacy Skills along with GCSE/ A Level (or similar qualifications)
