Stantec has been growing its presence in the UK and are looking forward to a period of further expansion. To support this growth, we are looking to recruit a Junior Bid Coordinator to join our Water & Energy Sector Bid Team.

This is an ideal role to start your bidding career and gain valuable experience in a global professional services consultancy. It is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, which will help you learn and develop.

This role is to be based from our Warrington office, with hybrid working in place to allow for a combination of home and in-office working.

You will work as part of our Water & Energy Sector Bid Team under the direction and guidance of our Bid Managers, providing an approachable and flexible service to the business. As a Junior Bid Coordinator you will support our busy and collaborative team who have a great track record of creating high-quality bid submissions.

In this role your responsibilities will be varied. Generally, you will be supporting in the creation of our bid submissions – using software such as Microsoft Word, excel and adobe to create new documents and format existing documents.

As you develop within the team you will be able to support the Bid Collateral Manager in the creation of project descriptions, personal profiles for technical staff and updating company information.

About You

Previous bidding experience is not essential, but a willingness to learn about the bidding process and how a bid support function works is required.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and be able to prioritise your workload independently. Bidding can at times be a high pressured fast-paced environment, so you will be expected to be a real team player and work well under time-pressure.

We are looking for someone who is exceptionally well organised and is able to apply themselves to new tasks. A good knowledge of Microsoft packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is advantageous. Training on other software packages such as SharePoint and any specialist bidding related software or portals will be provided.
