Heres What Youll Get To Do

  • Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of several automated production machines or equipment that perform one or more function in glass.
  • Maintain and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality glass.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment in a safe and efficient manner and make repairs as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks in order to increase equipment run time between failures.
  • Assist management in root cause analysis when failures occur.

Heres What Were Looking For

  • Must have experienced skills and knowledge with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and operation of high-speed production machinery both electrical and mechanical.
  • Experience with industrial electrical equipment, CNC, PLCs/Driver and motors.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • An uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace. At OBE we have each others back.
  • Availability to occasionally work on Saturday or Sunday as needed.
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently on scheduled tasks
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Adequate skill and ability using maintenance software
  • All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk on concrete floor for eight hours or more.
  • Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently.
  • Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to wear company-issued safety shirt, hard hat, steel-toes boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
  • Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region.

PREFERENCES:

  • Welding skills
  • Technical certificate or qualification in a related field.
  • Two (2) or more years of equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
